vertical SLIDERS

The Vertical Slider is designed to replicate the up-and-down sliding motion of a traditional sash window.

There are millions of houses in the UK that were built during the Georgian & Victorian periods (and even later) incorporated sash windows. They had thin glass and did not have any integral draught-proofing fitted and therefore are generally very cold and draughty. 

Lots of these properties, particularly in towns and cities, are now protected by Listed Building status.

If you need to access the existing sash window, either for ventilation or cleaning, the secondary window can be manufactured and designed with a system that allows the panels to pass each other allowing easy access to the main window.

The vertical slider design is fully compatible with all the other windows in our product range and they can be fitted any combination to suit your particular requirements.
